Sociedad y Ambiente is an electronic academic journal, peer-reviewed, published in open access and continous format, which is edited by El Colegio de la Frontera Sur, a public research center affiliated with the Secretaría de Ciencia, Humanidades, Tecnología e Innovación. Its objective is to contribute to the understanding of socio-environmental problems arising from human activities in the natural environment, as well as the effects of environmental change on social and cultural development, from historical, contemporary, and prospective perspectives.
