Abstract
Currently, the study of climate change denial is of paramount importance given the serious socio-environmental crisis unfolding, to which humanity seems incapable of responding adequately. This civilizational collapse, as indicated by the new members of the Club of Rome —those who produced the prophetic study The Limits to Growth (1972)— will begin just past the middle of this century, will be global, and threatens to wipe out half of humanity before the century ends. In this text, we will analyze the various arguments that question the existence of global warming, its consequences, or its anthropogenic character, to understand their nature, sources, and objectives. We believe that only through this analysis can correct and effective counterarguments be formulated. The future of generations to come depends on it.
